Terms of Business (Summary)

This summary is provided for transparency. The full Terms of Business — issued before any engagement — form the legally binding contract between Init Source Ltd and the Client.

1. Our Role

Init Source Ltd is a UK-registered recruitment company connecting employers with qualified technology, data, and product professionals. We operate in compliance with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.

2. Fees

• Permanent placements: 15–20% of first-year total remuneration.
• 15% for volume or new-client roles.
• 18–20% for specialist or senior hires.
• Invoices are due within 14 days of the Candidate’s start date.
• All fees exclude VAT where applicable.

3. Guarantee

If a placed Candidate leaves within 12 weeks (8 weeks for entry-level roles) and the invoice has been paid on time, Init Source Ltd will either:

• Provide a free replacement search for the same role; or
• Issue a full refund of the introduction fee.

The guarantee is void if the departure results from redundancy, misconduct, role changes, or poor working conditions.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate role information and a safe working environment.
• Notify the Company of offers, start dates, and any Candidate departures.
• Inform the Company within 48 hours if the Candidate was already known to the Client.
• Conduct all right-to-work and suitability checks before employment.

5. Confidentiality

Candidate details are confidential and may not be shared with third parties. Hiring an introduced Candidate within 12 months of introduction incurs a full fee.

6. Liability

Init Source Ltd exercises reasonable skill and care but cannot guarantee performance or suitability. Liability is limited to the amount of the fee paid for the relevant introduction.

7. Data Protection

Personal data is processed under the lawful basis of legitimate interests, in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Contact contact@initsource.co.uk for any data-related requests.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
